THE WOMEN’S BEAN PROJECT

For 2021, G&S Capital has partnered with The Women’s Bean Project to give a gift that gives back. For special gifts to our clients, we purchased over 300 gift boxes from The Women’s Bean Project.

Based in Denver, Colorado, founder Jossy Eyre was a volunteer for a daytime women’s shelter when she realized the need for more change. While the shelter kept the women safe, it did not make lasting changes to their lives. Each product is signed by the woman that made it, and you can read their stories of change online.

As a social enterprise, the Women’s Bean Project provides women stepping stones to self-sufficiency through employment. 93% of the formally chronically unemployed women are still employed a year after graduating from this program.
